In the Matter of condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the

under Preliminary Order 248703 approved May 5� 1970
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon bhe above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That t�e nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills,
including right of removal of lateral support �rrnn sub�ect land or remainder thereof,
� occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in �he grading and surfacing
with bituminous material the alley in Michel and Robertson's Addition to St. Paul,
Ramsey Co. , Minnesota from I.S. 35E to Chatsworth St. in accordance with the blueprint
hereto attached and ma.de a part hereof, the hatched portions shawing the cuts and the
shaded portions showing the fills, (G-1937)
with no alternatives, and that the estirnated cost thereof is $ 75.��
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 7th day of
JI>>�,' �`97� , , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of .
hearing, the na.ture of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
