WHEREAS, the St. Paul Parks and Recreation Department will
host the Mid-Continent Regional Park and Recreation Conference
August 23 to 27, 1970;
TIiEREFORE BE ZT .RESOLVED, that the City of St. Pau1 e�tend a
cordial welcome to the visiting park and recreation personne2 from
the various states in the upper midwest and provinces of Canada,
and invite them to share with the citizens of St. Paul in the en-
joyment of our public recreational facilities; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a special site on Harriet Is-
land be set aside and authorized for the use of delegates of the
Mid-Continent Regional Park and Recreation Conference who wish
to camp during the period of the conference.
