No. 247433, approved February 11, 1970. The owner of the sub�ect lands, The Maxson Corporation, has accepted an offer tendered by the City in the amount of $13,�5•00 as compensation for the sale of the said easement to the City. These easements are needed by the City of Saint Paul for the widening of Dale Street and the reconstruction of the Dale Street bridge over the tracks of the Burlin�ton ldorthern Inc. In view of the reasonable price for which it can be purchased, said price bein� the appraised fair and reason- able market value thereof, we, the Committee on La,nds, do recommend to the Council of the City of Saint Pa.u1 that it authorize the pux- chase of said easements in lieu of conde�nnation proceedings at the price of $13,665.00 as negotiated with the owners.
