Pursuant to your request, I hane prepared the form of Notice as required by Charter Section 203.3. This Notice should be published no later than May 16, 1970. It should be noted also that Charter Section 203.3 prowide� that a resolution amending the budget shall not be adopted until after the public hearing has been held. Therefore, upon completion of the public hearing on May 22, 1970, the resolution should be ratified and adopted by roll call vote of the Council. Please note also that Section 203.3 provides that the adoption . of such resolution requires six affirmative votes.
