WHEREAS, Como Zoo has as one of its exhibits a young female moose,
and
WHEREAS, in the interest of propagating the species and for exhibit
purposes it is desirable to exhibit a pair of moose,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are auth-
orized to accept an offer from the Milwaukee Zoo to trade a yearling bull
moose valued at Eight Hundred Doll.ars (�800) for a pair of jaguar kittens
valued at Four Hundred Dollars ($400) each from the next litter born at
Como Zoo; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in the event Como �oo cannot furnish a
pair of jaguar kittens within a period of one (1) year from date of
authorization, that the sum of Eight Hundred Dollars (�800) be paid Mil-
waukee �oo for the bull moose.
