WHEREA.S, the Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by
the City Architect that the vacant and open Uuildings located at;
569 Iglehart
-in the City of Saint Paul are a proximate hazard to the public health,
welfare and s afety; and
WHEREAS, the last known record owners of said property are:
Cherokee State Bank and Marie Pahr
-and said owners have failed to secure the same against entry by unauthorized
persons in violation of Section 192. 18 of the Saint Pau'1 Legislative Code, and
said vacant and open buildings have been found and determined by the Council
of the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace to the public health, wel�are
and s afety and a public nuis ance wnich must be i�zimedia.tely abated to prevent
1o�s of life or property; now, t'r.erefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Architect is authorized and direcL-ed to
immediately secure said buildings by the use of con�tract la.bor under Contract
No. 7358 pending proceedings under the Hazardous :Buildings Act; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the e:�pens e of s ecuring such buildings be
paid from Fund No. 0979-269, Summary Abatement, and that the Corporation
Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reimburse said fund by
action against the owner of said property.
