Tedesco September 2, 1970 COMMISSIONE AT� WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by the City Architect that the vacant and. open buiJ.dings located at: 579 Dayton -in the City of Saint Paul are a proximate hazard to the public health, welfare and s afety; and WHEREAS, the last known record owners of said property are: Mrs. Helen Moore, 556 Dayton Avenue -and said owners have failed to secure the same against entry by uriauthorized persons in violation of Section 1920 18 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, and saicl vacaxtt and open buildings have been found and determined by the Council o£ the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace to the public health, welfare and safety and a public nuisance �vhich must be immediately abated to prevent loss of life or property; notiv, therefore be it RESC�LVED, that the City Architect is authoriz�ed and dirt�cted te� iinmediately secure said buildings by the use of contract labor. under Contract No. 7358 pending proceedings under the Hazardous Buildinga Act; and be it FURTHER RESOLV�ED, that the expense of securing such buildings be paid from Fund No. 0979-269, Summary Abatement, and that the Corporation Counsel be dixected to take appropriate action to reimburse said fund by action against the owner of said property. �R 2 1910 .
