WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the Authority has undertaken the planning and rehabil- itation of certain areas under the Neighborhood Development Program, with the financial sid of the United States of America, under Title I of the Housing . Act of 1949, as amended; and WHEREAS, pursuant Co the aforesaid undertaking, the Authority is proceeding with certain project execution activities, including the inspec- tion of dwellings loaated within the Neighborhood Development Program Areas. NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: I. SCOPE OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall perform all necessary services provided under ehis Contract in connection with and respecting the Neighborhood Development Program Areas, identified as the Sucmnit-University Area, Minn. A-1-1, The West Midway-South St. Anthony Park Area, Minn. A-1-2, the Thomas-Dale Area, Minn. A-1-3 and the West Seventh Street Area, Minn. A-1-7, and shall do perform and carry out in a satisfactory and proper manner by use of the Staff of the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Health, as deemed necessary by the Con�ractor, all necessary code inspections and code verifica- tions as requested by the Autha ity. , 2. TIME OF PERFORMANCE: The services of the Contractor are to commence January 1, 1970, and be undertaken and completed in such sequence as eo assure their expeditious completion, in lioht of the purposes of this Cc�ntr.act, but in any event all services required hereunder shall be completed on or before April 30, 1970. Any delay in performance caused by the failure of the AuChority tc, act- on any matters requiring decision hereunder, shall not • � , � . � f . be charged against the Contractor, and the time allowed the Contractor for performance under this Agreement shall be extended in accordance with any such delay. � 3. COMPENSATION: The Authority will pay to the Contractor on the basis an hourly rate salary of a Sanitarian II, as determined by Civil Service Rates and travel expenses as provided by the Buresu of Health, in an amount not to exceed Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4,500.00) , which shall constitute full and complete compensation for the Contractor's services under this Contract. The Contractor shall be paid upon presentation of a requisi- tion specifying work performed under the Contract within fifteen (15) days after receipt by the Authority of said requisition. 4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS:. Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Part I - Agreement, this Agreement is subject to and incorporates the provisions of the attached Part II - Terms and Conditions (Form H-621b).
