The Council of the City of S� Paul having received the report o� the Commissioner of I�nance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby appro�ed and adopted, and'the said improvement -
<�is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and
fills, including right of re�oval of lateral support fram subject land or remainder
thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or co.nstruction of slopes in the grading
and surfacing with bituminous materi�l:of W. Jessaffiine Ave, fram Albert St. to
Hamline Ave. ; Brewster St. from N. Snelling Ave: to N. Albert St. , and Albert St.
from Jessamine Ave. to Brewster St., in accordance with the blueprint hereto attached
and made a part hereof, the hatched portions showing the cuts and the shaded portions
sh�i�g the fills, (G-1821)
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cast thereof is $ 50.00

�� ved Further, That a public hearing be.had on said improvement on the ` 22nd day of

September,� 1970 , at the hour of 10 o'c�lock A.1VI., in the Gouncil Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in��the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of �inance give notice of
said meetin� to the peraons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
heaxing, the nature of the unprovement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
