Minnesota
Gentlemen :
The undersigned, Oakley 0. Parrish and Ann E. Parrish,
petition and request that the on-sale liquor license that
is in the name of Oakley 0. Parrish and Ann E. Parrish at
752 West Seventh Street, also known as Parrish ' s Bar, be
transferred to a new location at 2176 West Seventh Street ,
Saint Paul , Minnesota .
The license has been in the Parrish family since 1933, and
was located at 752 West Seventh Street since 1936 . The
State of Minnesota Department of Highways condemned the
premises for trunk highway purposes for the overpass oF
West Seventh Street, and the premises was vacated by Court
Order on May 15 , 1970 . That during the time the una�rsigned
operated the business at that location , there were never any
problems as to the operation of the bar in relationship to
the neighborhood and the area . That said bar was operated
in a businesslike, lawful manner, and that if permission
is given to transfer said license , it is the intention of
the• undersigned to build a new building that will be an im-
provement to the neighborhood, and operate the establishment
in a good , lawful , businesslike manner.
The ownership of the license and the business will remain
the same .as in the past, and a change of location is merely
being sought.
