WHEREAS, Northern States Power Co�apany of the City of St. Paul,
Minnesota has requested per�ission to reconstruct and �aintai� a curb
and sidewalk on Hill Street fran Kellagg Boulevard to approxi�ately 150
feet w�est; and
1rHEREAS, The reconstruction ar�d maintenance of the said curb and
sideaalk on Hill Street is a matter of extreme e�sergency ac�d of interest
to the safety of the public; and
VHER EAS, M Ordinance, C.F. No. 248331 , granting permission to said
borthern States Power Co�pany to proceed with the reconstruction and
�aintenance of a curb and sidewalk on Hill Street fro� Kellogg Boulevard
to approximately 150 feet west, has been prepared and introduced to the
Council of the City of St. Paul and will be adopted on April 28, 1970 to
be effective eventuaily on Jane 2, 1970; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That pending the said Qrdinance beco�ing effective and in
view of the extrea�e urgency of the request, the Commissioner of Public
� ,� Wbrks is hereby authorized and directed to issue a permit to t�e Worthern
� ' States Power Company for the reconstruction and maintenance of � cu�b and
✓ � sidewaik on Hill Street froai Kellogg Boulevard to approxi�aately 150 feet
west, sub,ject to the same conditions and requireunents as set out in the
Ordinance C.F. Wo. 248331 , pending before tt�e Council of the City of St.
Paul, informal approval of said reconstruction and maintenance of curb
and sidewalk being hereby given in anticipation of the final adoption of
said Ordfnance.

WHEREAS, Northern States Power Company of the City of St. Paul ,
Minnesota has requested p�rmission to reconstruct and maintain a curb
and sidewalk on Hill Street fran Kellogg Soulevard to approximately 150
feet west; and
WHEREAS, The recoastruction and a�aintenance of the said curb and
sidewalk on Hili 5treet is a matter of extreme emergency and of interest
to the safety of the public; and
WtIFREAS, An Ordinance, C.F. No. 248331 , granting permission to said
Plorthern States Power Company to proceed with the reconstruction and
malntenance of a curb and sidewalk on Hill Street from Kellogg Boulevard
to approximately 150 feet west, has been pr�pared and introduced to the
Council of the City of St. Paul and will be adopted on April 2$, 1970 to
be effective eventuaily on June 2, 1970; now, therefore, b� it
RESOLVED, That pending the said Ordinanc� becaning effective and in
view of the extreme urgency of the request, the Comnissioner of Public
Works is hereby authoriaed and directed to issue a permit to the Northern
States Power Company for the reconstruction and meintenance of a curb and
sid�swalk on Hili Street from Kellogg �aulevard to approximately 150 feet
west, subJect to the same conditions and requirements as set out in the
Ordinanc� C.F. No. 248331 , pending before the Council of the City of St.
Paul , informal approval of said reconstruction anc! ma�ntenance of curb
and sidewalk being hereby given in anticipation of the ftnal adoption of
said Ordinance.
