W�REAS, John H. Larson, while employed by the Department
of Pnblic Safety, Burean of Police, was seriously in�ured on
November 20, 1969, while investi�ating an aecident oecurring
in the vicinity o�f May and Alaska Streets in the City of Saint
Paul; and
W�REAS, said John H. Larson has determined to pursue his
remedies against third parties who may have directly caused his
injuries, and for sueh purpoae has retained the services of
Warren E. Peteraon, attorney at law; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has an interest in the
recoverg by said John H. I,arson in the nature of certa3n
Workmen's Compensation benefits �.nd medical payments present�y
totaling $1,164.95; and
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the City of Saint Paul
to be represented in its dealings in this matter by Warren E.
Peterson, attorney at law; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that Warren E. Peterson is hereby authorized to
represent the City of Saint Paul in a lawsuit, which may be
resolved by trial, compromise or otherwise, at a fee of 25�
of recover� to be paid in accordance with the pro�isions of the
Workmen's Compensation Law, including those of' IKinnesota Statn�es
Section 176.061, Subd. 6.
