The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considerea said report, hereby resolvea:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is here�y ordered-to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommenda is
to recons-�ruct the sidawalk on the east side of Fairview Ave. f'ram Princeton Ave.
� to Lincoln Ave. and on the west side of Fairview Ave. fra� Princeton Ave. to
Goodrieh Ave. and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to
camplete said improvement� except where good and sufficient poured �3dewalks now
exist.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3•$0 per lin. ft. for 5' walk
$ 4�0 per lin. ft. for 6' walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the �th day of
Mav ,1970 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall BuiIding in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meetin� to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total east thereof as estimated.
