• RESOLVED, That the Couneil hereby concurs in the award of the Contract
Committee therefor and hereby awards eontract for furnishing all labor, materials
and equipment to confstruct concrete curb and gutters, Arundel St., Idaho Ave.,
Iowa Ave., and Maywood Ave. for the Department of Public Works to AREA CEMENT
COMPANY for the contract price of �13,693.00 (Plus E�►gineering and Inspection
14.596 - $1,985.49; Val. & Assess. 5erv. - $339•13; Collection Charges $402.90)
in accordance with the plans and specifications and Formal Bid �t055 of said
Area Cement Company, such bid being the lowest and said Area Cement Company
being a responsible bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draft the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
