• RESOLVID, that the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishrng all labor,
material, machines, tools and equipment for constructing, repairing or
reconstructing such monolithic concrete sidewalks and other work incidental
thereto, within SIDEWALK DISTRICT N0, 4, as may be ordered by the Council
for the current year prior to December 15, 1970, except such work as the
Council may order to be done by City Force Account, for the Department of
Public Works, under Contract No. 70-M-503, to MICHAELS CONCRETE COMPANY
for the contract price of $67,485.00 (Plus- Va1. & Assess. Serv. 2y,-
$1,349.7d, Engineering and Inspection 16%- $10,797.60, Tests $75.00) in
accordance with the plans and specifications and Formal Bid #4001 of said
Michaels Concrete Company such bid being the lowest and said Michaels Concrete
Company being a reasonable and rela�8ble bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is directed to draft the proper form of Contract therefor and
proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf
of the City of Saint Paul.
