THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor
and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $294,200 3s available for appropriation
in the 2003 Capital�Improvement Budgets, as heretofure adopted and amende3 by th'vs Council, be hereby
further amended in the Improvement Budgets, in the follov�ing particuIars:

The Department of Public Works will be entering into an agreement with the Minnesota Transportation Museum (MTM) to act as its agent
in accepting federal funds on their behalf for the next phase of the Sackson SE Roundhouse project. This includes water, sewer & electric
hookups to three (3) stationary railroad cazs previously restored. MnDOT acted as their agent on the firsf phase of this project, but aze
unable to do so with subsequent phases. The funding is 80% federal funds and 20% participating funds from MTM, no ciry funds wiil be
spent on this project.

We will be assisting MTM in securing the federal funds applied for and ganted. The Minnesota Transportation Museum wilt be able to
proceed with the next phase of the 3ackson St Roundhouse project.
