COMMISSIONE
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by
the City Architect that the vacant and. open buildings located at: '
441 5t. Anthony (New File)
-in the City of Saint Pau1 are a proximate hazard to the public health,
welfare and s afety; and
WHEREAS, the last known record owners of s aid property are:
Currell Realty Co.
-and said owners have failed to secure the same against entry by unauthorized
persons in violation of 5ection 192. 18 of the Saint Paul .Legislative Code, and
said vacant and open buildings have been found and determinecl by the Council
of the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace to the public health, welfare
and safety and a public nuisance which must be immediately abated to prevent
loss of life or property; now, therefore be it
RE50LVED, that the City Architect is authorized and directed to
immediately secure said buildings by the use of contract labor under Contract
No. 7358 pending proceedings under the Hazardous Buildings Act; and be it
FURTHER RE50LVED, that the expense of securing such bua.�dings be
paid from Fund No. 0979-269, Summary Abatement, and that the Corporation
Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reimburs e s aid fund by
action against the owner of said property. (Estimated cost: $23. 76)
