OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK C N RES LUTION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY �, COMMISSIONER �ATF WHEREAS, The Committe� on Lands, composed of the Mayor, the Purchasir� Agent, the Canemissioner of Finance, and the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings of the City of Saint Pau1, ha.s secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described as follows: Lots three (3) and four (�+) in Block two (2) in Como Prospect Addition acc. WHEREAS, The property described therein is necessaxy for the Loeb Lake Park Site, Open Space Land Pro��ct No. Minn. OSA-81 (DL), and the price at which the property may be purchased is at the total amount of $10,250.00, a fair and reasonable price aecording to the appraisal obtained by the Ca�omittee on I,ands; and WHEREAS, Said Committee has recommended the purehase of said property at the price stated above, as evidenced by the letter of said Committee submitted herewith; now, therefore, be it RESOLVE�, �hat pursua.nt to Section 303 of the Charter of the City of Sai.nt Paul, �he Council of the City of Saint Pau1 does hereby authorize the purchase of the land described as: Lots three (3) an.d four (4) in Block two (2) in Como Prospect Addition, acc. RESOLVID FURTHER� �hat the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to pay to Clifford T. t�ite and Janice F. White, record fee awners, the sum of $10,250.00, said sum to be paid to the aforesaid vendors f'rom PIR Code 6000, to be reimbursed from Fund 9769-501-001, upon theix furnishing evidence of good marketable title in the aforesaid vendors, and the total payment to be ma.de upon tender by said parti�s of appropriate deeds conveyin� title to said property to the City of Saint Paul. The owners of the above described land, Clifford T. White a.nd Janice F. White, have accepted an offer tendered them by the City in the amount of $10,250.00 as compensation for the sale of the land to the City. This property, includin� land and buildings, is needed by the City of Saint Paul for Loeb Lake Park.
