WHERF.A.S, In the matter of Comptroller�s Contract L-7199 for the construction
of the CHILD�S ROAD SANITARY SE�ISR, City Froject No. 69-S-1345, F. Morettini Coe-
struction Company, Contractor, the specffied date of completion is Septeffiber 1,
1969� and
WHffitEASs The Contractor hes prosecut�d the work diligently but due to con-
ditiona beyond the Contractor�s control it was not possible to complete the con-
tract by said date of completion, therefore bc it
RBSOLVID, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby authori$ed
and directed to execute an am�ndment to said contract extending the ti�e of cum-
pletion to June 15, 1970, provided howev�r, that this resolution shall have no
force or effect unless the �ureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and
file such consent in writin� with the City Comptroller, and be it
FURTHSR RASOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby waives all claim for
liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this project
will be char�ed to the Contractor for such extended period.
