WFiEREAS, In the matt�r of Comptroller�s Contract L-7200 construction ot the
ST. ANTHONY HILL RELIEF SEWER SYSTEM (Dayton-Milton), City Fro,ject No. 69-S-971H2,
F. Morettini Construction Company, Contractor, the specified date of completion
is October 31, 1969, and
WHEREAS, The Contractor was notable to complete the contract by said date of
completion, therefore be it
RESOLVBD, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby suthorized
and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extending the ti�e of com-
__. pletion to August 25, 1970, provided however, that this resolution shall have no
�;���.-force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractorts bond consent thereto and
V,, �rfile such consent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it
' FURTHffit RESOLVBD, That th�ity of Saint gaul hereby waives all clsim for
liqnidated da�ages and that no ngine�ring and inspection costs on this project
will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
