WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed by
the City Architect that the vacant and. open buildings located at:
679 DeSoto Street
-in the City of Saint Paul are a p-roxima�e hazard to the public health,
welfare and s afety; a.nd
WI-iEREAS, the last known record owners of said property are:
�ichael Anzaldi, 1087 Bellecrest Drive
-and said owners have �ailed to secure the same aga:inst entry by unauthorized
persons in violation of Section 192. 18 of the Saint Paul Legislative Cod�, and
said vacant and open buildings have been found and determined by thz Council
of the City of 5aint �.'aul to constitute a menace to the public health, welfare
and sareiy and a pt:blic nuisaxice which xriust be imrnediately abated to prevent
los�� of. life or property; now, therefore be it
f RESOLVED, that ti�e City Architect is authorized and directed to
immediately secure said buildings by the use of contract labor under Contract
N�. 7358 �nending proceedings under the Hazardous Buildings Act; and be it
� FURTHER RESOLVED, that the e:cpense of securing such buildings be
paid from Fund No. 0979-2�9, Summar.y Abatement, and that- the Corporation
Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reimburs e s aid £und by
action against the owner of said property.
