Mary Jandric -and said owwners have failed to secure the same against entry by unauthorized persons in violation of Section 192. 18 of the 5aint Paul Legislative Cod.e, and said vacant and open buildings have been found and determined by the Council of the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace to the public health, welfare and s afet� and a public nuis ance which must be imrnediately abated to prevent loss of life or property; now, therefore be it RESOLVED, that the City Architect is authorized. anc� directed to inlmediately secure said buildings by the use of contract labor under Contract No. 7358 pending proceedings under the Hazardous Buildings Act; and be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the expens e of s ecuring such buildings be paid from Fund No. 0979-269, Summary Abatement, and that the Corporation Counsel be directed to t�.ke appropri.ate action to reimburse said fund by ac tion agains t the ovcnie r of s aid pr ope rty.
