Marshall City Clerk Room 386 City Hall Dear Sir: This is written in response to the application of the Toni Company for a permit to install and operate a 182-car employee parking lot on property located on the south side of East Fifth Street between John and Willius Streets, and noted in detail by the legal description on file. This matter was considered at the August 20, 1970, Board of Zoning meeting. The staff reported that the site of approximately 73,000 square feet is located underneath the Lafayette Street Bridge east of the downtown area. Revised plans received August 20, 1970, meet required design standards and the recommendations of the staff and Traffic Engineer. After some discussion, it was moved to recommend approval of this application with the understanding that Mr. Ewy, representative of the applicant, consider some landscaping of the site.
