Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the application of the
, Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company for a permit to
install a 73-car parking area plus 17 autos in truck-loading
area on property located on the northwest corner of Florida
Street and the Lafayette Frontage Road, and noted in detail
by the legal description on file.
This matter was considered by the Board of Zoning at
their August 6, 1970, meeting. The staff report noted that
revised plans received August 6; 1970, meet required design
standards and the recommendations of the Traffic Engineer.
Mr. Lester Mericle, Jr. , representing the applicant,
noted that the site wi11 be primarily rented to industrial
facilities, with Minnesota Mutual Life Insurance Company
occupying part of the building.
Subsequently, the Board, by a 5-0 vote, recommends
approval of this applicat.�on.
