COUNCIL RESOLUTION-GENERAL FORM

Resolved, That the Inner City Youth League, 175 North Victoria Street,
Saint Paul , Minnesota, 55104, is hereby authorized and permitted to use
Victoria Street between Dayton Avenue and Selby Avenue from 1 :00 P.M. to
6:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 26, 1g71 , for a Canmunity Block Party; be it
Further Resolved, That the Canmissioner of Public Works is hereby au-
thorized to issue a permit to said inner City Youth League for the use of
said street upon and subject to the following provisions, terms and conditions:
1. The Council hereby waives the �equirement that the permittee pay
the cost of publication of this resolution;
2. That said permittee shall notify the Traffic Bureau of the Public
Works Department when the street is to be closed and again when it
is opened, and the City also waives the requirement that the per-
mittee pay all costs incu�red in the furni'shing, installing and
� removal of barricades, signs and other traffic control devices;
� 3. The City hereby waives the requirement for the furnishing of a
surety bond and public liability insurance and the said permittee
expressly agrees and undertakes to .fully indemnify and hold harmless
the�itX of Saint. Paul , its agents, officers and employees from
a�y and all damages, claims, losses, judgments, suits or expenses
arising out of or occasioned by the use of said street contemplated
by this permission and authority;
,� 4. That said permittee shall file its written acceptance of this

; � same with the City Cle�k not later than September 23, 1971 , and in
the event of its failure to do so, the permission and authority
� hereby granted shall lapse.
