RESOLVED FUftTHEft, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
clirected to prepaxe plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city afficials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

To the Com�issioner of Finance of the City of St. Paul:
The Cominissioner of Public Works, having had nnder consideration the preliminary
order of the Council kno�m as Council File No. 253718 approved
a=ri1 22nd. 19�_relative to reconstructing the sidewalk and replacing
with integral curb and sidewalk on both sides of University Ave. from Rice St. to
Marion St. and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to com-
plete said improvement.
and heving investigated the matters and things referred to thereia, hereby reportss
1. The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk �
5 ft. wide aad $5.30 per lin. ft. for atandard sidetaalk 6 ft. wide.� and
$1.50 per sq. ft. for integral curb and sidewalk.
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said imprvvement is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
