INI77ATING PROBLEM, ISSUE, OPP�RTUNIiY (Who, What, Whan. Where, Why):
1.) Substantial interference between new ductwork and existing building's system.
2.) No support for the fire damper.
3.) Air-handling I-IVAC duct controls found to be defective and direct replacement for
original parts no longer available. (These controls are on ducts unaf£ected by this
work, but these must be adjusted to balance air flow requirements in the changed
portions of the :�VAC system.)
VANTAGES IF APPROVED:
1.) New ductwork fits into existing available space.
2.) Fire damper will be fully functional and spills in the healt': l.aboratory cannot run
down to first floor through duct penetration.
3.) It will be possible to balance system properly so that the clinic rooms will comply
with state and federal environmental recommendations and requirements for health
safety of employees, patients, and clients.
