WHEREAS� the Council of the City of Saint Paul is informed bX
, the City Architect that the vacant and open buildings located at:
741 Fuller Ave.
-in the City of Saint Paul are a proximate hazard to the public health,
welfare and s afety; and
WHEREAS� the last known record owners of said property are:
Jacob H. & Mabel Schmitt - no forwarding address - letter

-and said owners have failed to secure the saxne against entry by unauthorized
persons in violation of Section 192. 18 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, and
said vacant a,nd open buildings have been found and determined by the Council
of the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace to the public health, welfare
and aafety and a public nuieance which must be immediately abated to prevent
loes of lifo or property; now, therefore be it
R�S4LVED, that the City Architect is authorized and directed to
immediately aecure eaid buildi,ngs by the use of contract labor under Contract
No. T3.9$'pending proceedings under the Hazardous Buildings Act; and be it
FURTHER RESOLV�D, that the expense of securing such buildings be
paid from Fund No. 0979-269, Summary Abatement, and that the Corporation
Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reimburs e s aid fund by
action against the owner of said property. Estimated cost $23.50.
