Whereas, the City of St. Paul has entered into an agreement (C.F. 25b389)
with the Department of Transportation for the study of a system for the
circulation and distribution of people in downtown St. Paul and
Whereas, the agreement provides that the study shall be financed by a
$72,000.00 federal grant and $30,000 in City contribution, a contribution of
services of $3,000 from the Metropolitan Transit Car�nission, a contribution of
services of $2,000 from the Metropolitan Council and a contribution of services
of $1 ,000 from the Capital Area Architectural and Planning Commission,
Now be it Resolved that a Special Revenue fund be established entitled
"Downtown Transportation Study" and the City Comptroller is directed to assign
a proper code number.
Further Resolved that all costs be charged to the above Special Revenue
Fund and that the Special Revenue Fund be credited for $30,000 from the Public
Works Project Contingency Fund and credited with all Federal Grant Funds.
