Marshall City Clerk Room 386 City Hall Dear Sir: This is written in response to Russell Boudin's (1) appeal to relax the parking lot buffer requirements and (2) application for a permit to install a sixty-car parking lot on property located on the south- east corner of Maryland and Dale Street. This property is further described as: Lots 18-21, 22, 13, 14, Block 1, Como Prospect Addition This matter was heard by the Board of Zoning on September 16, 1971, at which time the zoning history of the site was noted. It was stated that the proposal is to expand the existing parking lot and the plan does not provide an eight-foot buffer between the parking lot and adjoining residential buildings. Site and area conditions were also mentioned. The staff noted that revised plans have been submitted by the applicant which meet design standards. A letter from an adjoining resident was read. The board viewed pictures of the site and heard separate motions to recommend approval of the appeal and of the permit. Both motions carried by a vote of 5 to 0.
