The matter was then withdrawn from City Council consideration and the Office of License, Inspecrions and Environmental Protection sent a letter on January 30, 2003 extending the deadline to apply for a Special Condition Use Permit to February 13, 2003; and WHEREAS, the applicant submitted an application for a Special Condition Use Permit, but the application was insufficient. As we tried to obtain a permd for a repair garage at the location 1423 rice st. saint paul, Mn 55117 and found out that R would be difficult to obtain one. I general manager of YRP Technology has seized and stop the repair end of the business as of July of 2�02. The main objective of the operation is in aftertnarket auto pertormance paRs and accessories ali new parts. Since July we have not opened the repair end and shut it down just the retail parts end is stiil open. The remainder part or the building is used for storage. Finding out that we cannot store vehicies at property, all vehicies have been remwed. If obtaining special condition pertnit is too hard to get then the whole operation is shutting down. if we were unable to instali the perfonnance parts onto our customers vehicie then that would be at no advantage to us. So ifi use permit cannot be obtain then we are forced to ciose out our business. Since November of 2001 I have obtain empioyment work as a store manager ai AutoZone inc. and YRP has been on and off. t3o repairs or work is being done at the tocation. We are onty using it as storage space at the present time. If pennd is too haRf to obtain lhan YRP witl shut down and close out. I have not tried to open YRP for about a year now. If there is any other way to obtain pemiit than YFtP may re open but as of now YRP is on4y used to store parts (new paAS) Wiliing to cooperate in any way to obtain use permit if not to late to get one. if not properiy zoned forthat kind of business then we can move to another location. For 2003 YRP wouid like to instali the performance parts onto the customers vehicie as requested.
