WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Public Safety and the Bureau of Health
have submitted investigation and inspection reports pertaining to the hereinafter
described properties, copies of which are attached hereto and made a part
hereof;
WHEREAS, The Council finds that the conditions described in the hereinafter
described properties constitutes nuisance which threaten the public peace,
health and safety; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Section 374 of the Charter of the City of Saint
Paul and Section 265.52 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, 24 hours' notice
has been given to the owner, occupant, or agent of each of such properties
demanding the abatement and removal of such nuisances; now, therefore, be
it
RESOLVED, That upon the recorrmendation of the Commissioner of Public
Safety, the Comnissioner of Public Works is he reby directed to sur�narily
and forthwith remove the said nuisances from the following described properties:
448 Blair - Lot 4 of 6. Machael 's Rearrangement of Block 7 and the South � of
Block 2, Smith's Sub-division of Blocks 2, 6, 7 and 8 of Stinson's division of
the Northwest quarter of section 36, 29 and 23.
y� Burned furniture and rubbish in back yard. Garage filled with old furniture,
I � wood and a matress. Sack door open. Clean up yard and interior of garage and
raze garage and secure house.
� � 682 East Lawson - Lot 5, Block 14, Arlington Hills Addition
p Remove refuse from rear yard.

Q� � Remove all old lurr�er and scrap metal from area around old barn-like structure
at rear of subject premises.

the cost of such rerr�val to be charged against Fund No. 0979; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Corronissioner of Public Safety is directed
to ascertain the cost of such removal and to forward the same to the County
Auditor on or before October 1 of the year in which ascertained for collection
in the same manner as taxes a�qainst said properties. N OV 9 1971
