INTERMEDIARY ORDER

In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the weat side of Macalester
Street from St. Clair Avenue to Princeton Avenue and by ding all other work which
is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 252121 approved Januarv 26, 1971 ,
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of Macalester Street from SC. Clair
Avenue to Princeton Avenue and by doing all other work which is necessary and inci-
dental to complete said improvement, except where good and sufficie�nt poured sidewalks
now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated coat thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide Walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the lst day of
A�*;1, �A71 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
