In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the south side of Beech Street
from Kennard Street to Germain Street abutting Lot 11, Block 4, Weed and Halle's
Addition ONLY, known as 1618 Beech Street and by doing all�bther work which is necessarq
and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 252057 approved ,rannar� �� � �97�
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on ?:he south side of Beech Street from Kennard Street
� to Germain SCreet abutting Lot 11, Block 4, Weed and Halle�8 Addition ONLY, known
aa 1618 Beech Street and by doing a11 other �ork which is necessary and incidental
to complete said improvement,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4�40 ner itn ft for 5' wide walk
� $ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 1e� day of
Apr i 1, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'cicek A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Buildin� in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
