In the Matter of constructing and/or reconsCructing the sidewalk on both sides
of East Cottage Avenue from Curve Street to Hazel Street and by doing all other
work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 252054 approve�l T�uar�r. 19]1
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby reaolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends ia
to construct and/or reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of East Cottage Avenue
fram Curve Street to ftazel Street and bq doing all other work which is neceasary
and incidental to complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured
sidewalks nvw exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated coat thereof is $ 4.40 �er lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per li�ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 2nd day of
April. 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
HousQ and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
