In the Matter of �e�g�r-ucting the sidewalk on the west side of North Oxford
Street from Orchard Avenue to the south approximately 262 feet and by doing all other
work which is necessarq and incidental to complete said improvenent,
under Preliminary Order �5?nL�g approve�i ,a., r•�a,������7�
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of North Oxford Street from Orchard
Avenue to the south approxima�ely 262 feet and by doing all other work which is nec-
essary and incidental to complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient
poured sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated coat thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 30th day of
Ma rch, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
