WHEREAS, The City of St. Paul p�oposed to improve Cretin Ave. between
Lincoln Ave. and Mississippi River Bivd, with a portion of the financing
to be with Municipal State Aid funds; and
WHEREAS, The Municipal State Aid Division of the Minnesota Highway
Department has required the elimination of on-street parking on the west
side of Cretin Ave. between Lincoln Ave, and MissisiMpi River Blvd. as a
condition for approval of this project; and
WHEREAS, There ts presently little demand for on-street parking on
Crettn Ave. between Lincoln Ave. and Mississippi River Blvd.; therefore,
be it
RESOLVEO, That the City of St. Paul does hereby indicate its intent
to ban on-street parking on the west side of Cretin Ave. between Lincoln
Ave. and Mississippi River Blvd. upon completion of the proposed improve-
ments. .
