In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on both sides of Como Avenue frc>m
East Como Boulevard and Como Place to Chatsworth Street and by doing all other
work Which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order- 252oRh approver� JAn+�Ar;22� 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said repart, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reaonstruct the sidewalk on both sidescf Co�o Avenue frc� East Cono Bonlevard
and Como Place tv Chatsworth Street _:�nd by doin� all other work which is necesaary
and incidental to complete said improvement, except where good and sufficient poured
s
sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 26th day of
March, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta.ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
