In the Matter of r�constructing the sidewalk on the �ast side of Cretin Avenue
from Cerroll Avenue to Roblyn Avenue and by doing all other work which is necessary and
incideia,,tal to camplete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 252084 approved January 22, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: -
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the east side of Cretin Avenue fr.� Carrol,l Av�r���F�'
fio Soblyn Avenue and by doing all other work which is necesaary and incieiantal
to co�aplete said improvsment, except where good and sufficient poured sidcWalks
now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4.40 per lin ft for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide Walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 26th , day of
Mareh� 1971 ,'at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.

To the Commissianer of Finance of the City of St. Paul:
The Commissioner of Public Works, having had under conaideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File Na. 252084 approved
Jan. 22nd. 19 71 relative to reconstructing the aidewalk on the east
side of Cretin Ave. from Carroll Ave. to Roblyn Ave, and by doing all other work

which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
and having investigated the �oatters and things referred to therein, herebq report�:
1. The estimated coet thereof is $4.40 per lin. ft. for standard side�alk
5 ft. wide and $5.30 per lin. ft. for etandard sidewalk 6 ft. wide..
2. A plan, profile ur sketch �f said improvement is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
