In the Matter of reconatructing. the sidewalk an the sonth side of Eal�t Fifth
Street from 6ctzian Street to Atlantic Street and b� doing all other Wark which is
n�ceasary and incidental to co�plete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 251916 approved January 12, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above impr�vement, .and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be p�oceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reec�nsCruct the sidewalk on the south side ot East Fifth 3treet -from Gotzian
3treeC to Atlantic Stre�t aad by doiag all other work vhich is necesaary and inci-
deutal to complete said iaprove�eut, exaegt where good and sufficient ponred side-
. , Walks no� exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estim�ted cost thereof is $ 4.4� per lin ft for 5' wide walk

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 2gt�► day of
March, 1971 ' , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the.Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Buitding in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
, said meeting to the }�ersons and in the manner provided by the Chaxter, sta.ting the time and place of
hearing, the na,ture af the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
