In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the weat aide of Hazel Street
from LaCtosse Avexiue to Ames Avenue and by doing all other work which is necessary
and incidental to complete said improve�ent,
under Preliminary Order 251915 approve� January 12, 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Gouncil recommends is
to reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of Hazel Street fram LaCrosse Avenue
,
to A�aes Avenue and by doing all other work whieh is necessary a�d incidental
ta co�plete said iffiprovenent, except vhere good and sufficient poured sideWalks
naw exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ �+.40 per lin ft for 5' wide Walk
$ 5.30 ger .lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the 25�h day of
March, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
