In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the northeast side of Gotz�an
Street fram Fremont Street to Eaat Fourth Street and on the southwest side of Gotzian
Street from the South property line of Lot 51, Block 21, A. Gotzian's Rearrange�ent
to East Fourth Street and by doin� all other work which is necessary and incidental
to complete said inprovement,
under Preliminary Order 251914 approved ,Tanuary 12� 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to reconstruct the sideWalk on the northeast side of Gotzian 3treet from P'remont
Street to East Fourth Street and on the southwest side of Gotzian Street frrna the
South property line of Lot 51, Block 21, A. Gotaian's Rearrangement to Bast Fourth
Street and by doing all other work �hich is necessary and incidental to complete �aid
improvement, except where good and sufficient poured sidewalks acx� exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4_40 ner lin f� for 5' wide walk
$ 5.30 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
Resolved Further, That a public heaxing be had on said improvement on the ZSth , day of
March, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the.persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
