WHBREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L-7248 for the Improvement
of Streets and Sidewalks in the SUA4IIT-UNIVERSTTY RENEWAL t�A, Cantract A, City
Pro�ect No. 69-G-1904, Dunkley Surfacing Company, Inc., Contractor, the specified
date of campletion 3s Noveaber 15, 1970, and
WHSREAS, The Contractor was not able to complete the o�ntract by said date
. of completion, but the Citq did not suffer any loss, therefore be it
RBSOLVED, That the prcper Citq Officials be and they are her�by authorized
and directed to execute an amendment to said oontract estending the time of
� oompletion to July 23, 1971, provided however, that this resolution shall have
� � no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto
and fil� such consent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it
FURTAER RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul hereby �aaives all claim for
liquidated da,ages and that no engineeri�g and inspection costs on this project
will be charged to the Contraetor for such eatended p�rfod.
