WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul ("Cit�') desires to acquire a permanent easement for sidewalk
purposes on, over under and across a tract of land owned by Chesmut Housing L.P. ("Chestnut
Housing") in the Upper Landing Housing Redevelopment project area, Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, said easements are necessary to maintain appropriate right-of-way widths in the project
area; and
WHEREAS, Chestnut Housing has executed an Easement agreement to convey said easements to the
City at no cost (attached as Addendum "P'); and
WI�REAS, the Valuation & Assessment Engineer has recommended acceptance of said easements;
now, therefore be it
RESOLVEA, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts said Easement agreement and directs and
authorizes the proper City officials to file the agreement with Ramsey County.
