WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, in the development
of its Criminal Justice and Human Resources municipal infor-
mation sub-systems and other data management programs has
the need for us e of computer equ ipment and� personnel trained
in data processing; and
WHEREAS, agreements between the Gity and federal and
state agencies contemplated a sub-contract between the city
and the welfare board for computer use ; and
WHEREA5, it is intended to upgrade the welfare
computer by increasing core capacity and installing peripheral
and unit record equipment, scheduling such equipment modifica-
tions to meet the needs of the criminal justice information
system; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED� that the proper city officers are hereby
directed and authorized to execute, on behalf of the City
of Saint Paul, a contract between the City of Saint Paul,
the Welfare Board, and the Ramsey County Board, copy of
which eontract is attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� that the Welfare Board may as
directed by the Criminal Justice Project Coordinator place
on order equipment so that its installation shall occur as
required by that project.

2. The uses , including the amount and time thereof�
and schedule of charges associated therewith for all city data
processing needs shall be negotiated and �periodically revised by
the Welfare Department and the Aiayor or his desigflee.
3. This agreement shall continue in force and effect
for a period of three (3) years , commencing on the day and year
this agreement is countersigned by the � City Comptroller.
4. The City agrees to reimburse the Welfare Board for
services rendered hereunder within thirty (30) days of receipt of
an itemized statement for services rendered during the preceding
month.

day written notice by either party.
