WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has heretofore incurred
costs in connection with the condemnation and demolition of
a two-story fourplex at 240-242 Sherman Street, described as
Southeasterly 50 feet of Lot 4, Block 36, Rice and Irvine' s
addition to Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, said costs were heretofore confirmed by the
Council of the City of Saint Paul in Resolution, Council File
No. 214924, and a lien therefor was filed by the City Clerk of
the City of Saint Paul in th� Office of the Register of Deeds
in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota on October 27, 1963, and
recorded in 1872 Ramsey County Records 129; and
WHEREAS, such lien, as represented by Comptroller' s
Registered Bill No. 4-2213, is in the amount of $747.85, which
amount was paid and satisfied on April 8, 1965t now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officers of the City of
Saint Paul are hereby authorized and directed to prepare a
satisfaction of the aforesaid lien and execute the same.
