THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saiat Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice
of the Long Range Capital Impzovemeat Budget Comxnittee, that $300,000.00 is available for appropriation in the
2003 Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and axnended by this Council, be hereby further amended
in the Impmvement Budgets, in the following pazticulazs:

The City of Saint Paul in cooperation with Ramsey CounTy proposed to reconsiruct Lafayette Road from Grove Street to University Avenue
in coordination with the conshvction of the new Ramsey Counry Jail facility. Ramsey County will provide and/or purchase any
Right-of-Way necessary to make these proposed roadway and access improvements along Lafayette Rd. The City of Saint Paul will use
available MSA Contingency funds to cover iYs shaze of the project costs.
ADVANTAGES IF APPflOVED:
There will be available budget to fund the Ciry's portion of cosu for the Lafayette Road reconsuvcdon project.
DISADVANTAGES IF APPROVED:
MSA Contingency will not be available to be used on other projects.
