WHEREAS, The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City
of Saint Paul has undertaken planning and rehabilitation of certain
areas under the Neighborhood Development Program (NDP); and
WHEREAS, The Housing Authority for the performance of said
NDP desires to contract with the City of Saint Paul to obtain the
services of the City's Bureau of Health for the purpose of in-
specting dwellings located within the NDP area; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED� That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby approve Contract between the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority of the City of Saint Paul and the City of Saint Paul,
acting through its Bureau of Health, said Contract providing for
inspection services by the City on behalf of the Housing and Re-
development Authority for a term commencing May 1, 1971, and to
be completed on or before April 30, 1972, for an amount not to
exceed the sum of $29,740.00; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, Tha.t the Ma.yor, Commissioner of Public
Safety, City Clerk and Comptroller are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the said Agreement on beha.lf of the City of Saint Paul.

Dear Commissioner Meredith:
The Housing and Redevelopment Authority ha.s executed a
proposed Inspection Services Agreement for the NDP
areas pertaining to Housing Code Inspection by your de-
partment. I enclose herewith resolution approving the
said Contract together with a copy of the Agreement and
request tha.t if satisfactory to your department, you sub-
mit for Council approval the attached resolution. T'here-
after our office will obtain the necessary City signa.tures
and deliver to you, the Comptroller, and the Housing
Authority completely executed copies of the Agreement.
