having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered

RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
approval; that upon said approval, the proper city officials axe hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.

The Co�anissioner of Public Works, having had nnder consideration the preliminary
order of the Council known as Council File No. 253640 approved

April 16th. i9�,_relative to recons�ructing the sidewalk on the north
__ 4ide of E. Sixth St. from Ta nson Parkwav to Clarence St and bv doin¢ all other
work wh?ch �s necessary and incidental to comglete said imorovement
aad having investigated the matters and things referred to therein, hereby reportss
1. The estimated cost thereof is $4.40 per lin. ft. for standard sidewalk
5 ft. wide and $5.30 per line ft. for standard sidewalk 6 ft. wide.
2. A plan, profile or sketch of said improvement is hereto attached and
made a part thereof.
