INTERMEDIARY ORDER - �OUNCIL FILE Na :

In the Matter of constructing and/or reconstructing the sidewalk on both sides
of Palace Avenue from View 5treet to Fulton 3treet and by doing all other work which
is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 252149 approved January 27. 1971
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
� to construct and/or reconstruct the sidewalk on both sides of Palace Avenue from
View Street to Fulton Street and by doing all other work which is necessary and
incidental to complete said improvement, except where good and suffid ent poured
sidewalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is � �:6� per assessable foot - Residential
$ 3�20 per assessable foot - Commercial
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 13th day of
Julv, 1971 , at the hour of 10 o'cicek A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of .
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, sta,ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of ths improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
